Drop Shortbread cookies.
Alas, they are so easy to make that there's always next weekend to replenish my stash of cookie gifts.
(including Cardamom sugar cookies and Cocoa Wafer cookies, along with the usual assortment of gingerbread characters)

Also made cabbage rolls with sushi rice, bacon, bay leaves, and onions carmalized to within inches of their lives. These are not your baba's holubtsi. Mmmm...
