I was so worried when they were asking about her sister. I thought in this reality, her sister was dead...but I think I'm getting this reality confused with the alternate reality where the mom's alive and the sister is dead...and only Fringe will have you parsing which alternate reality is which.
I think they did mention Rachel, but I'm pretty sure it was only once and very vaguely, in one of the early scenes with Lincoln - "when my sister and I moved in with Nina" or something to that effect. I am glad there is still an Ella, because a world with no Ella is a sad place. (Also, glad they waited to completely joss a chunk of my fic till after I wrote it. Because otherwise I might have freaked out and never finished it, lol.)
