Cheshire Cat

Curious cat is curious:

I've gotten out of the habit of using the DSLR since I got the iPhone 4s because the picture quality for simple shots is almost as good. But the DSLR still gives me the excuse to just go and play. A couple of weeks ago, I woke up to that surreal glowing fog at sunrise and slipped out for a walkhobble through town:

Unfortunately I wasn't moving fast enough to get clear of the lines and poles before the sun got too high and burned off the fog.

Amazing the difference a couple weeks makes - not fog this time, but grass fires over the Easter weekend:

While trying to catch said Cheshire Cat, I managed to pick off a few more stray reflections by turning off the auto-focus feature and switching to B&W mode. Rotated this one 90 degrees, which gave it a whole different, kind of surreal look:

Ah, right, you didn't forget Easter, like yours truly. To my defence, I had a good reason.

Gotcha, thanks! :)

No internet, as I found out recently, can be quite okay...ish. ;)
