I loved the exploration of Olivia's alternate lives without Peter, but in particular, I really loved this insight:
Olivia’s relationship with his father had always been, for lack of a better word, fraught. Some days she’d only tolerated him and his flights of fancy, others, she’d embraced him, ready to follow him off a cliff if that’s where he was leading. Most of the time Peter had been there to mediate, to be that buffer that kept the two of them from spontaneously combusting and taking everyone in the vicinity with them.
You've perfectly captured Olivia and Walter's relationship--and Peter's space in between them--in a way I hadn't really thought of before. So thank you!
